Where to begin? This is my first blog on this page, but hopefully the first of many! I’ve been looking for a creative outlet for a while now, and I think this could be a fun way to get things off my chest, while also allowing me to write – one of my favourite things!
I’m an ordinary, if a little eccentric, late 20’s chap, living in London, by myself, in a small flat and doing the ‘work’ thing. As will come as no surprise to others working in the smoke, my job is dull, tedious, populated almost exclusively by dim folk, but reasonably highly paid – hence I’m there at all.
Unfortunately, the last year or so has seen a slide into dissatisfaction. Dissatisfaction with life, love, work, my routine, and just about everything that makes up the hum-drum existence of most british 20-somethings who are on this rat race, this ‘aspirational journey’ to a house in suburbia and 2.4 sprogs. I’m sorry if this sounds preachy, and sorrier still if it sounds condescending, but quite the contrary to that – and the clue is in the blog title here, I personally have no idea what the hell else to do. And that’s largely what’s brought me to this window to my world in cyber space… maybe if I write it down, there’s a chance (albeit a slim one) that I’ll happen across ‘Plan B’. But then, Fck knows if that’s actually going to happen! In the meantime, I hope this will be entertaining to any of you that decide to read this, and look forward to input, comments, and advice from anyone who wants to offer it. Unless it’s ‘find god’, in which case you can go away please.
